Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) is a plant that is part of the mint family. It has been used for respiratory problems including coughs, the common cold, respiratory infections, sore throat, and asthma.
Lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) is a plant that has been used as cough medicines, to relieve fluid retention, and to treat lung diseases such as tuberculosis
Sweet Violet (Viola odorata) in an herb. The root and parts that grow above the ground are used to make medicine for treating the common cold and influenza.
Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is a plant that has been used to help open the lungs, eases spasms, tightness, and cough.
