Our Dermatology Ward includes the following plants:

Burdock (Arctium Lappa) is an herb that has been used to treat skin conditions including acne and psoriasis.

Heartsease (Viola Tricolour) is a flowering plant that has been applied to the skin for dry skin and other skin conditions including dandruff, warts, acne, rash, eczema, and impetigo.

Plantain (Plantago Major) is a plant that is rich in vitamin which acts as antioxidant which may help boost your immune system. As an antioxidant, it may protect your body against free radical damage that’s associated with aging, heart disease, and even some types of cancer.

Wood Sage (Teucrium Scorodonia) is an herb that has been used to treat digestive tract disorders, tuberculosis, swollen airways, throat spasms, high blood pressure, wounds, and liver disorders

Figwort (Scrophularia Nodosa) is an herb that can be applied directly to the skin for skin conditions such as eczema, itching, psoriasis, haemorrhoids, swelling, and rash.

Chamomile (Matricaria Recutita) is a flowering herb that has a history of being used as a remedy for treating fevers, headaches, kidney, liver and bladder problems, digestive upset, muscle spasms, skin irritations, gout, ulcers, rheumatic pain, and inflammation.
