The 2025 Big Biodiversity Summer Bash

We are hosting our annual Summer Bash 12th July, 12-3pm. Join us in Ninewells Community Garden and the surrounding woodland area for a free drop-in, fun, family friendly summer afternoon.

Our garden staff and volunteers will be joined by organisations and experts such as The DCA, RSPB and Dundee Nats, for a day packed with events and educational activities. Learn about month trapping, birds, bees, flowers and tress. Take part in nature inspired creative workshops and events, learn how to create your own edible garden that can be grown anywhere using everyday containers. Enjoy live music and the tea tent and much more.

Our summer Bash is a fantastic opportunity for people to connect with nature and learn about the role biodiversity plays in sustaining healthy ecosystems.

You are welcome to just wander around and explore the natural beauty of the garden and woodland, take part the free family events and workshops, or just eat cake and listen to music!

The Big Biodiversity Bash is free, and all are welcome. For more information about the event please visit our website at ninewellsgarden.org.uk
