Ninewells Community Garden and the NHS Tayside Greenspaces and Biodiversity Group invite you to the Big Biodiversity Bash, Saturday 13 July 11-3pm.
Join us in Ninewells Community Garden and the surrounding woodland area for a free drop-in, fun, family friendly summer afternoon. From 11 to 3 PM visitors can explore the natural beauty of the Garden and arboretum located within the Ninewells Hospital and Medical School grounds.
The garden staff and volunteers will be joined by organisations and experts such as The Eden Project, RSPB and Dundee Nats, for a day packed with events and educational activities. Learn about butterflies, month trapping, birds, bees, flowers, trees and mushrooms. Take part in the family toadstool trail, the compost workshop, foraging walks and create your own sun prints. Enjoy live music and the tea tent and much more.
The Big Biodiversity Bash is a fantastic opportunity for people to connect with nature and learn about the critical role biodiversity plays in sustaining healthy ecosystems. Join us in celebrating the rich biodiversity of our community and take part in making a positive impact on our environment. The Big Biodiversity Bash is free, and all are welcome.
