After a hot and dry July, things are feeling back to normal now, with autumn very much in the air. As we start to tidy the garden and get ready for the longer nights, we have been welcoming new visitors. We have had our annual visits from 3rd year medical students, looking to understand how gardening can support health; 2 teams of volunteers from Brewin Dolphin financial management company who set about our flower beds with great enthusiasm – and of course everyone who visited as part of Doors Open weekend.
We have had a lovely donation of tools from Flymo and McCulloch, a huge thanks for these! Flymo has been established since 1964 and is still situated in its original factory in County Durham. Flymo have continued to be at the forefront of innovations within the garden care industry, making them one of the most trusted gardening brands today. McCulloch has been established since 1943 and offers a complete line of garden products, from lawnmowers and garden tractors to chainsaws and trimmers.
These tools will help hugely with our autumn maintenance and upcoming renovation of our main herbacseous border. Thank you!
